Hello, I am a creative freelancer who loves process. I can model and animate in 3D, weave, paint, curate, and do many other things. But the point is that it’s not only about the technique, but mainly about what you want to say, then the technique will find itself a way.

Allo 3D

How could I launch my 3D courses in Brussels, without a proper 3D motion design ? Yes I agree. I had fun, trying to imagine what would be the phone of my dreams. My first cellphone was a blue Sagem flip phone, you don't forget a phone like that. Contact me if you want more information about the courses. Yes, they are real.

How vases are made ?

I was really amazed when I discovered how vases are made. This video is like a documentary of what I saw. More seriously, this video was inspired by the work of Camille Cornillon a ceramist living in Athens, Greece. The last scene is from a picture she shot of her work. I imagined all the steps before this moment, resulting in a dreamy way to make ceramics.

Fais-le toi-même ASBL

From 2021 to 2023, I was communications manager for the Fais-le toi-même association, based in Brussels, Belgium.
During those two years, I worked on revamping the association's visual identity, as well as its location in Brussels. I designed and produced all the communication materials for events and one-off projects. The association supports and defends craftspeople and designers, so mixing handmade and digital seemed to me an obvious choice.

Mon histoire de nappes

For an event organized by visual artist Pauline Reyre in Brussels, I created the visuals dedicated to communication. "Mon histoire de nappes" is a project that brings together strangers around a table, sharing a meal on a tablecloth. This event was a performance based on the same principle, which took place in a gallery large enough to accommodate a 12-meter tablecloth. The 3D visuals I created pay homage to this object.

Circular Wool Rug

Circular Wool is a collaborative project with Lottozero/textile laboratories and Casalis. Circular Wool comes from sheep raised for their meat or milk, and is systematically discarded. The aim of this research was to find new uses for this wool, using a variety of techniques. Here, robotized tufting and a play of textures to limit wear and tear on the material.

inprocess

In October 2020, I initiated the "inprocess" project, a mini-festival bringing together artists, designers and craftspeople around questions of object-making processes. The latter were highlighted as much as the works themselves. Round-table discussions and workshops were organized in parallel with the exhibition. A second edition took place in May 2021.

Oil painting has always been accompanying my research in other fields. It is both the core of my work and a satellite to which I return regularly.

POUVOIR-FAIRE

In 2021, we created the POUVOIR-FAIRE project with artist Camille Mézi. Its aim? Disseminate and pass on tufting and weaving techniques, through training courses, activities in institutions and prototyping projects for third parties. We needed strong branding that would break away from the clichés associated with craftsmanship.

LES ENCORDÉS

During my studies in textile design, the silk square format quickly gained a special place in my heart. My favorite subject is the objects that surround me, and my desire to highlight them by treating them as luxurious materials.

LE TAPIS VERT

After studying textile design at Les Beaux-Arts de Lyon, I was lucky enough to learn the traditional tapestry technique at Les Beaux-Arts de Bruxelles. This tapestry was the culmination of my 2 years of study. I wanted it to be pure and complex, using a single wool color to reveal the composition.
